The players were ecstatic. It seemed like the whole team was there, although I don't remember seeing Art Monk, Doug Williams, George Rogers or Jay Schroeder. It was over twenty years ago so my memory is a little fuzzy. I'm pretty sure that most of the Hogs, Darrell Green, Daryl Grant, Neal Olkewicz, Monte Coleman, Alvin Walton, Todd Bowles, Gary Clark, Ricky Sanders, Don Warren and any other guy that you can imagine was there. Timmy Smith wasn't quite yet very well known, but we may have crossed paths. Who knows? The guy I remember most was Wally Klein. He was a big dude and really friendly. I remember Vernon Dean too. Sonny Jurgensen was there filming a show. I was ten years old and felt like life couldn't get any better. I was thrilled to say the least and I'll remember that experience as long as I live.

Very cool story... you should have had Dave65Butz as your screen name
