I knew this guy given a chance to start would be exactly what we need. You don't have to be a mobile qb or have the strongest arm for this system, you just have to be smart and make a good read. Besides is it me or does Campbell's balls are uncatchable and Collins's balls land softly in our receivers hands. On a serious note, I'm thrilled Collins is doing well. That being said, anyone thinking he should replace Campbell must've drunk a little too much eggnog. The guy is 36, and even if he does start playing like Tom Brady, how many more years do we have out of him? 2? Maybe 3?
Campbell is the QB of the future, but it's AWESOME to have a solid, mature backup in Collins to mentor Campbell in the system and fill in like he's doing right now.
