I think that's actually a really smart move on CP's part - shows some real wisdom, maturity and class.
You've got to figure how it would look as a tribute if CP goes down with an injury, or fumbles or has a really bad game. I think he's better off, like he said, not trying to be #21 and not trying to be someone he's not.
A real tribute would be for everyone to go play their hearts out for the rest of the season.
I'm still all for retiring #21. Honestly I think the patches and stickers on the helmets are a nice idea, but it's also a little weak if that's all they do.
One of your best friends, your brother, your teammate who played his heart out for the team, dies while protecting his family and all we can do is wear a sticker with his number???
