In a way I almost feel like this HAS happened to someone in my family. Maybe it's just b/c I'm emotional right now. But I grew up in DC. Some of my earliest memories are of my Dad taking me to Skins games at RFK during Gibbs 1.0. I still remember the 3 SuperBowl parties my family threw for our championships.

Redskins football is and always will be something that brings my family and friends together on Sundays. I love this team with all my heart, I keep up with them every single day of the year, and as I've grown up I feel like I'm a part of them and they're a part of me, as cheesy as that may sound. And Taylor is one of my 2 or 3 favorite players. I still remember cheering and running laps around my living room when we drafted him over Kellen Winslow. I wear his jersey every Sunday. I'm devastated.
