Thrash is not only a great special teams player, he's also a leader in the locker room and a decent wide receiver. Plus he's a model citizen on and off the field, as evidenced by the fact that he's on the commissioner's player advisory council.
Brunell won't be cut because he has value. He brings experience to the table, and he's been key in helping JC's development. Clearly age has caught up with him but he's been here just as long as anybody and knows the system just as well. Plus he carries a large cap hit, so we aren't gonna see him cut. You'll see him traded to another team before you see him cut.
Todd Wade is now the backup at tackle where he rightfully belongs. He's not a guard in this league and never will be. But at least if Jansen goes down or doesn't play well, we can turn to Wade. He did a great job filling in for Jansen against the Saints last year.
Dallas Sartz is probably the only guy on this list that has a chance of getting cut. You must not have been watching the game Saturday night because he was the one that returned the interception for a touchdown. He might have a future in this league, but he's only a rookie so don't crucify him just yet.
