"I think we need to put up at most 17 points to win this game."

I think points will be at a premium in this game, not because we're going up against an elite defense like Tampa, but because it's going to be a rainy a$$ day on sunday. Even Spurrier would admit, "not a good day to pitch it around".

1. They better work on those botched center-qb exchanges cuz that ball will be slippery.
2. Agree with most, that just handing it off to Portis and short passes to Cooley+Coles will be the way to go on offense. Time of possession will be in our favor.
3. On defense, I expect to see more blizting - that's the best way to take Toomer and Hilliard out of the game.
4. As we've done since the first game this preseason, the D will continue to create 2 turnovers per game - what better chance of creating turnovers than to pound Warner and Barber.
5. ST Kick coverage units will definitely pick up their play once Gibbs and Danny Smith figure out the right line-up for the coverage unit.

Prediction: Morton takes one to the house in this game & Skins win 17-3.

As as aside, two extreme positives from the last game.

1. When Brunell got nailed by a hit last week, linemen were picking him up - something we never saw them do for Ramsey/Hasselback last year.
2. We got the ball back with 5:36 to play in the 4th Q, and we gave it back to TB with less than 20 seconds left - that's what you want to see - ball control and excellent clock management.
