Taylor is far and away the most talented player in the secondary and perhaps the entire team. Has he lived up to his potential yet? No, definitely not. But from a pure raw talent perspective, I think Taylor is easily one of our top players, if not the very top.
Springs when healthy is definitely a very talented corner. He does have an impressive all-around skill set. Like you said he's physical, good speed, and he's been around the block. But if we're comparing raw talent, I don't think Springs can even come close to Taylor. |
I can't remember the last time Springs was burned for a TD or picked up a personal foul or dropped an interception in his hands. That's all I'm saying. Taylor's potential is Ronnie Lott. I'm sure there are some prisoners doing time now that could have been the next millionaire or executive. Potential means nothings when not used properly.
