Wow, lucky man this weekend!
Poker- the strip isn't too bad anywhere, in terms of low limit (i believe you can find 2-4 blinds at most places). i think alot of tourists like to try their luck on the strip, so i don't think you'll have too much heartbreak if you know how to play a little... then again, that also means lucky flops on terrible hands for nubes. I've played at the Monte Carlo, Mandalay and the Excalibur.
Eats- cheap eats are everywhere, cuz it's Vegas. but if you can splurge on one meal, go to the Bellagio buffet- 35 bucks at dinner gets you all you can eat gourmet food. All you can eat alaskan king crab legs (already half peeled for your convenience) in drawn butter, prime rib, kobe beef, all types of different meats, international foods and individually plated desserts (the bread pudding is off the chain though). If you're not in vegas often, you should definitely check it out- 35 bucks may seem like a lot, but it's two or three hands at the blackjack table. Try to go during the hours b/t lunch and dinner to avoid the hour and a half line which will drag from 6 till 8.
Sports books- the king of all sports books lies at Caesar's... good luck trying to find a place here this weekend though cuz of March Madness.
Night clubs- the hot spot lately seems to be Pure at Caesar's. Ra at Luxor was the spot for a while before that. Rain at the Palms ain't bad. If you're still partying after 4, check out Drai's at the Barbary Coast. Be sure not to wear sneakers to most of these spots- there's a dress code at most night clubs.
Gentlemen's clubs- The Sapphire and Spearmint Rhino are always poppin'... Cheetah's is a little less "classy", but fun nonetheless.
Have fun dude! I'll be in Vegas in May for my 30th!
