They could still be upset for him coming into camp out of shape last year. They may have been hoping that some young guy could make him expendable.
I'd bring him in, but only for the minimum. Maybe we strike gold and get a hungry player wanting to prove critics wrong like we did for Gardner's year here.

They had a pice about Douglas showing how he lost a lot of weight this off season and is in great shape and ready to perform. he also looked good in the practices that I saw. Im a little surprised that they let him go. Expecially since the Jaguars have a coach that worked with douglas in philly, I dont remember who but it seemed liek everyone was excited about him this season.
He sucked last year, and could be another guy that only dominates under jim johnson, but hes still more of a threat then we have, hes worth trying out.
