Dude, I said I was with the signing, I just don't think he's all that good. I like the fact that they kept him. He's a decent back. He's just not great. I think he's staying where he should be at #2 on the depth chart of the Washington Redskins. I think if they gave him starter money, it's a horrible idea and might spell the end for Clinton here. However, if he got some decent money for being a backup, then it's a good deal.
As for Betts being a "better fit for Gibbs's system": Clinton is a better blocker and
harder runner than Ladell Betts. He also gets in the end zone a lot more and fumbles less. Also, until this season, Clinton has stayed healthy far more consistently than Ladell.
