That's because Spurrier thought his
college blocking schemes would somehow magically work in the NFL. Imagine going two seasons with that mentality! (I've never liked Spurrier, but tried my very best to like him while he coached my Redskins. Now that he's gone, I can get back to disliking him like a good Florida State Seminole fan should.)
