Re: Cup of Schmoe Day 2 (hailredskins.com)

I don't consider myself stupid but i must be. It is quite amazing. I disagree with every single thing in that article outside of the biggest hit. I don't understand how i could see things so differently.

Brunell was horrible again. He says how good brunell was playing but then compliments fauria about catching a POS pass FROM BRUNELL. That pass made me want to throw up. I am glad christian caught it but i don't think it was nearly as dramatic as the author made it sound. Yeah he had to jump but a finger tipping catch against the core gravity of the earth is pushing it. ON that throw people were commenting on how theycould do better throwing that ball. It was a 6 - 8 yard pass and it was horrible. Brunell threw interceptions and passed balls so low that it was tipped by dline men a few times. One time he hiked it and threw the ball within 3 seconds off his back foot and it sailed short and to far for the wide receiver. Someone i was talking to said that was horrible. I thought it might have been a an intentional throw away but the dline wasn't all that close and the wide receiver over there was open as far as i could tell. The receiver was on the other side of the field so it was tough to tell.

SO what if rock fumbled it. He did but it isn't like he gets a thumbs down for the day. Maybe he forgets the hits rock took and bounced back from and stayed on his feet to the endzone and then saunders coming over and giving him a big bear hug. On the fumble saunders came over and patted him on the head and put the ball in his hands and started swatting at it. It seemed to be something supportive. Saunders doesn't seem like someone that is going to yell you to death. He is going to congratulate you every single time you do something right. Saunders is running into the endzone every play to give players hugs and pats on the head. Rock had a good day outside the "cardinal sin". Please.

I agree half way on taylor. Taylor seems to be a caged dog. He wants to lay a mother f...er out but he can't because we are all on the same team. Yesterday when he missed the tackle i think it was due to the fact he isn't going full speed when hitting the offense. He doesn't seem to be going at it very hard. But when taylor gets pissed you see what happens. Portis busted through the d-line on one play and continued untouched passed the LBs. Sean could have done what he did for jacobs yesterday but he decided to lay the hit. Taylor pushed portis with two hands and portis going full speed in one direction was just as quickly headed backwards in the opposite. Taylor just pushed him down like a rag doll and walked away.

I don't know how campbell was just alright today. he played well even though sometimes he put it down and ran. I think that is a good thing. If nothing is open and palyers are down field run away and get 15 yards. The pass on which rocky nearly intercepted it was near me and many of the fans as it was on the sideline next to the fans. The ball was nearly intercepted. I agree. The ball however could not have been placed better in my opinion. If the ball was 4 inches lower it would have been rocky's. If it was 2 inches higher it would have been to high for the WR, who had to jump for the ball. Now i didn't see the other options and no fan can really know what the QB is seeing pre-snap escpecially at a sideline angle. Maybe if someone is wide open but otherwise not really. Campbell may have had another option but i don't know this. He picked a target and the ball was caught and it was the ONLY place it could have been placed in my opinion

On a side note i got right next to gibbs and got his autograph. He gavce me a little booklet thing he was giving out to people. It is called "JOE GIBBS Success and the ledssons I've leaned along the way"---- It is a mini book with chapters like, searching for the truth, god's game plan or the world's, Trusting god with my career, A close call provides perspective, a financial crisis builds character and a 'sum it up' ending. ON the back it says "you cdan know christ personally" and quotes 4 passages from the bible--John 3:16, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:8, Ephesians 2:8-9
