I introduced myself, and told him I loved reading his stuff. I mentioned the site, and I think he heard of it. He asked why I was on vacation during rookie camp. I asked why he was on vacation during rookie camp.

The exchange was very brief at the end of the flight. He spent two and a half hours with his aging mother and about 70 kids, and I didn't want to make his flight more uncomfortable.
