Sorry for the delay. Now I know this is what's known as circular reasoning, but here's how I see it. We used the No. 25th pick (or was it 22nd?) to select Jason Campbell. That's one first round selection used on selecting him AND we gave up a 2006 1st rounder as well. So by picking Jason Campbell in 2005 we ultimately used a 2005 and a 2006 first round pick. Now I know you will argue that had we not traded with Denver, then we would not have had a 2nd 1st round pick, and you're right. Ultimately, it only (only?) cost us a 1st, 3rd, and 4th. I would have taken Heath Miller with the pick, but that wasn't what the thread was about.
