isn't it still in beta? its really fast, but with most cable internet, you start hitting bottlenecks unrelated to your connection (slow servers, capped server download speeds etc) so I doubt there'd be a noticeable difference (except for uploads, if verizon doesn't cap those).
I don't know anyone who has it, but if they offered it to me, i'd try it
