Carolina is one of those teams concidered to be high revenue, that because of teams like us supplying the income, but they still dont put the money out in the players. Actually, they put alot of money in players that they shouldn't (Dan Morgan-always injured , Deshaun Foster - cant stay healthy as a part time player) I am not a carolina fan. i do think he will help take some pressure of Steve, but w/ Colbert getting healthy and another year, I think he could have been just a good.

great, how about instead of thinking there are better players available you actually name them instead
according to you, even great players, once past 30, shouldn't be signed by anyone and just retire?
they were close last year, and this stopgap player will help them stay close and work better in the short term than a draftee or underacheiving prospect currently on the team. if they were the 49ers it wouldn't make nearly as much sense.
