NO, are you kidding me? they are all horrible. I am saying spitting in someones face is a classless thing to do. You can not think that I would suggest beating your wife is less harmful than spitting. No ones wife was brought into this, its spitting by a football player on another football player. What I am pissed about is people are trying to say its OK. Its not even about football anymore its about peoples morals. this is rediculous that people think its ok for a person to spit in someones face, and you are worried about the retaleation. pushing, grabbing face masks and stuff like that is an everygame occurance. Spitting is not, and should not be tolerated in the least. $17k is light. plus he gets to play(which I am glad as a redskins fan) but morally it sends that the league is putting the individual player above rules and respect of the league. Like I said, its not even the football thing that pisses me off, its people saying its ok. Let somebody spit on one of the Skins and you would have been calling for the same thing Taylor got. I thought when Romanowski did it, it was classless and he should have been fined more than 7500.00 dollars. Wilbon brings up a good point, Portis was fined 20k for socks and visor, but taylor 17k for spitting in someones face? whats wrong w/ that.
