This is my take away from the game. The 3 turnovers cost us the game, and were avoidable as any turnover is. But they happen. One caveat; I agree with the sentiment that 3rd & 1 in that situation, you go under centre and pound the ball, not shotgun/pistol and run read option. The lack of early ground and pound makes me think KK out coached himself, thinking they would be run heavy on D with Scary out (which they were but we still moved the ball). But it's how you respond to a turnover, and all things considered, the O did well.

But the D haemorrhaging runs worries me, and more so the inconsistency. I'm not even sure its the players. Watching how we set up on some of those gashing run plays, it seemed that we totally discounted the Bears ability to run outside. We had a play where Sainristil was trying to set the edge with an OL in his face. A CB against a lineman to set the edge? WTF? I'm not convinced Whitt knows what he's doing calling plays. I can't help thinking DQ may have to step in soon and if that happens. it's not going to be a pretty outlook the rest of the way (I don't agree with the HC calling plays unless he's a proven genius like BB or Andy Reid).

I'm becoming convinced Whitt is the problem and we may have no choice but to replace him soon.
