I think it interesting to see Peters strategy of the 1 year contract.

Last year as well as this year. Can we have the same success again with this strategy?

QB1 hides a lot, but Ertz and Wagner performances were vital. This year a couple guys from New England, Wil Harris safety and now Gay as the kicker all will be asked to play big roles on 1 year deals.

Deebo, Lattimore are essentially on 1 year deals as well…they will be asked to lead both units.

This allows a great deal of flexibility if things go south, to simply re up and move on….but in terms of team building, is it great long term? Remains to be seen. But you have to like the short term results
