INT's on the other hand are a product of good coverage and QB pressure. That has made a difference in the last few weeks, although the fumbles bouncing our way may also have an emotional/awareness element to them.

I have to disagree with your statement that fumbles tend to balance out. I do agree that you have no controll of which way the ball will go. If you have players attacking the ball and playing out the play your average will go up with more guys in position to make the play. Our D has done a good job in the second half of the season of getting the ball lose and then haven players in position to fall on it.
