Yes Russia gains ground but they lose between 1000 and 1500 people a day. Russia wants you to believe that it's sustainable forever but it's not, their economy was tanking before Trump gave them a lifeline. And when it comes to how much we've spent supporting Ukraine it's barely a drop in the bucket against our defense budget, and the toll it has taken on the Russian military is immense.
If you're a Reagan Republican as far as foreign policy is concerned you can't support Trump on his handling of Ukraine.

I disagree, most things I’ve read have stated Ukraine lacks the ability with its current force to retake any substantial lost land. There lies the issue.
And this is stuff written prior to the election. Ukraine has lost importance footholds on multiple fronts the last two years.
