After 42 years of cheering for the Redskins, you take things in stride. Some of the losses are just a meaningful as the wins. Sonny Jurgensen was an exciting player on awful Redskins teams. That Clint Longley game still sticks. Those things just made me care for the team more.
If they lose to the Eagles today, I'll focus on how 9-7 is much better than 6-10 and on Monday will say "just wait until next year." Of course, Sunday night, I'll kick the dog and beat my children.
The Eagles could go 0-6 in the NFC East and that must really stick in their craw.
THAT worries me the most. The Redskins should be ready and I expect them to win.
