Well to be fair the "human mascot" point is quite a different story whether the logo is used by a multi billions dollars sports franchise or by an association defending NA rights and bearing the name of the NA man who designed it... isn't it ? Context is everything.
I felt all along that if the franchise had actually, from the start and all the way, done enough to represent, honor and support NA communities, the discussion would have been different. Maybe I'm wrong, cuz it sure didn't feel like the most vocal anti name people cared a lot about actual Natives' opinions... but we'll never know.
