Obviously, the jerseys and legacy of the Redskins will always be a part of the team history. This isn't Cleveland becoming the Ravens or Colts moving to Indy. Our team's history is an awesome story and the SB's will stand etched with the Redskins name forever.
Saying someone is wearing a Redskins jersey to honor Native Americans is as ludicrous as the woke statement that Redskins was a slur against them. The Redskins were a football team, changed from the Braves when they moved to Washington. The whole sanctimonious claptrap is just ridiculous.

I concur with the bold. I don't think it has ever been about honor. Or derision.
The fact of that matter is Indians/Native Americans/Indigenous Peoples are viewed as ... Cool.
The look, the folklore, the myths- it all fascinates us. The examples are endless and not restricted to the dwindling number of team names. And it's not just us. A good chunk of the world shares this fascination.
