This is more of a general statement: We can't let fear of outcome be more important than the actual evidence/trial itself. Not fair to anyone that is accused of any crime.
Individual rights are way more important than group rights imo.

I think that is an important point. One of the biggest mistakes that Marilyn Mosby made in the Freddie Gray trials was charging every single officer he came in contact for his death. This was as close to a slam dunk as you get almost as close as this Chauvin case yet not a single guilty verdict.
