This is my kind of thinking. We need to maximize the use we get out of our roster. Lavar was incredibly successful lining up as DE on 3rd down situations under Marvin Lewis. I believe that on third downs rather than subbing out lavar for Chris Clemons. We should put Lavar in as DE, and throw Clemons at the weak side linebacker. Then Lavar immediately draws the double...and frees up a linebacker/corner/saftey blitz from whatever side he is on.
I havnt seen that yet... any thoughts why?
