Jeez I gotta agree with Reid, he’s not a practice squad player. Woulda liked to see him on the squad.

I feel like Coach Rivera is doing the right thing and giving the guys on the roster and on the practice squad the first shot to earn it. This shows strong loyalty to the team and sends the right message. Not bringing in an outsider right away.
If one of the existing safety's is not good enough then they cut that guy and bring in Eric Reid. Reid will most likely be there if we need him in a few weeks.
I think Reid wants to be here and we would be ok with him here.
