Can it be spread through the air?
Im not talking about someone with COVID sneezing and you walk right into their spray mist. I keep hearing it can be transmitted through touching of surfaces and or if you inhale wet droplets.

Person-to-person spread
The virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person.
Between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet).
Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.

I find it hard to believe that it is spreading so fast just by touching surfaces, and I find it very hard to believe that people are walking into sneeze mists. Im sure you are on a bus or elevator, someone sneezes, yes there is potential for exposure ... I guess since I dont take buses or need an elevator im kinda blind to the situational dangers.
My office building has central air for 5 floors, probably 200 people inside on a normal work day. Not sure how many are here now, maybe 50.
I assume filters and the delay in any infected air making its way to me is a complete deterent.
