I think the ILB position will be a problem this year.
Brown is awesome against the run. He isn't very good in coverage but I don't care, he needs to be going after the ball carrier at all times.
Foster is coming back from a shoulder injury that put him on IR last year.
It's risky banking on him playing 16 games this year so we need backups.
I don't agree with what has been said about Spaight, Him and Brown are the only linebackers that made plays in the backfield. He has good speed and is aggressive. Now his angles to the ball carrier suck. he is too aggressive at time. He is a ST coverage guy and a last resort backup.
Vigil will be coaching HS football in September but will be back around week8 when players start falling apart..
Buchanon will be our backup ILB and he is coming off an ACL injury, Yikes.
We really need Foster and Nicholson to stay healthy.
