Kyle Smith took over that role this year. Had heard a little while back that Scott was considering leaving after this draft. So this isn't a big surprise. role had changed; still had input... Had been with organization since 2001.

Check that: Took over that role last June for this year. so was in charge of it for this draft. Brings energy/passion among other attributes to the job. Had a good draft too. SC a good guy; scouts not always heard. recall him being a big Moses fan.
