All excellent points, funandgunner, and I agree wholeheartedly with most of them. However, there will always be room and justification on this board for criticism of the team in any form, particularly now that what is ostensibly the largest Redskins fan site has essentially become a PR tool of the team. As this is a Redskins fan website, there will always be an overwhelming number of supporters versus critics of the team, but many of us shift from one side of that debate to the other, and that makes us no less of a fan than anyone else. In fact, the reason many of us ARE so critical of the team is because we have such a
passion for the team.
Even as the team and its fans appear to be headed towards the most successful season in recent memory, there will always be room for improvement, and therefore, criticism. After all, nobody ever achieved success without constantly casting a critical eye upon all their work, whether that work was a success or a failure. Nor would we understand why the team succeeds or fails unless we apply that same critical analysis to every little move they make.
Besides, that's what makes this place so much fun!
