Some statins will cause one to have a very flush look. I take meds for my cholesterol, and I used to take Niaspan. Usually about 20 minutes after taking that pill, my whole body would turn beet red, as if I had gotten a really bad sun burn. It would also cause my face to look a bit puffy as well. Of course, after about an hour, the reaction would go away and my skin and face went back to normal, but after passing out a couple times because of the med, I got myself off of it.

That being said, it isn't a med that I would take during the day or first thing in the morning. I would always take it right before I went to bed so I could sleep off the effects.

However, seeing recent pictures and recent video, he's definitely got the "puffy" face on a more consistent nature than in the past. It's possible that he could be on medication that causes that.
