Just last year we wasted half the year and still managed to win the division. It's hard but not impossible. Besides, as bad as these first two games have been we know this team is capable of getting into a groove, and anything can happen. We don't need to win the division, that might have been our goal at the start but I wanted to see improvement over last year, and right now it looks like we have regressed.

He was a long term starter in college so he's played in a lot of games. He's a project but projects get better by playing. I'm not saying he is the answer, but if he played and stunk we'd get a top pick to get another QB. I don't want to go 6-10 with Kirk. I'd rather go 3-13 Nate.
This conversation is probably better to have after the Giants game. We beat the Giants and the Browns and we're back in business at 2-2.
Our schedule is brutal this year, would be very very tough to make playoffs if we start 0-3.
