We lack talent on the DL regardless of scheme. But having the hypothetical choice between playing 1-gap or 2-gap on this team I would go with 1-gap.
Other then Baker (who btw doesn't like 2-gap) which of our DL are capable of playing 2-gap?
At least with 1-gap our blind squirrel DL might stumble into a pressure or a stop.

Because Joe Barry is the DC and he's a 1-gap coach. But, again the 1-gap vs 2-gap isn't as big of an issue as the lack of talent.
