Re: Skins @ Panthers gameday thread

I understand the concept of protecting the players but the officials have in my opinion taken over the sport to the point that if something is not done the NFL is going to start a decline. After Every good play before i get excited i have to wait to see if flag is thrown..its almost like i would rather DVR the game and have a app that deletes all the bogus calls just like commercials are skipped just to enjoy the game. When Roberts returned the kickoff for td i didn't even get excited because i just knew a flag had been thrown. the play on culliver was a game changer and if that had stood i really believe we would have been competitive instead of blowout. If this continues I will no longer watch the NFL ..I have been a redskin fan since 1969 and watched every game either tv,recorded same day, live or radio..so i am not some casual fan . The officials are at best bad and they are being told how to call games by the league who's track record is not so good of late..All I can say is if the Redskins had committed all the infractions that the Patriots had we would not have a first round pick the next 5 years..it does seem the league has it in for the Redskins..if they really want to protect the players the rule should be IF a offense player makes a aggressive move with helmet or does not try to avoid helmet to helmet then they there is penalty..either that or all plays can be reviewed by upstairs official that actually understands the rule..that culliver call would have been overruled..you think They make that call in the Super Bowl? the officials should be held to a tighter standard and replays must be used on all plays that impact the game.they say replays are used on all scoring plays right? we scored and where was the review? The redskins gave up after that. the officials took over what could have been a tight game.
