Raiders claimed CB David Amerson off waivers from the Redskins.
Still only 23, Amerson is blessed with ideal size and speed, but was a frequent burn victim in the Redskins' secondary. There are snaps there for the taking in Oakland's beat up secondary, but there's little reason to believe Amerson will be any more effective for coach Jack Del Rio than he was in Washington.
