I agree with this assessment of Gruden's current predicament.

Does he stop trying to instill an NFL passing playbook 11 games into his first HC job and just call the junk that got garcon 113 catches last year (drags, screens, crosses = plays that dont require timing, anticipation or reading a key defender)

or

Does he continue to struggle trying to find a balance of what RG3 can do and still utilizing his playbook. Week in, week out seems like it is trial and error with a lot of fails.

Mcvay was here the last couple years so i imagine he is telling gruden what kinda worked last year...

idk .. tough to ask a rookie HC to swallow his pride and vision and replace it with HS stuff that still wont win but make your star Qb look less horrible .... even if it is a mirage.
