I think both sides of the starting Campbell argument have some merrit. But if Cambell hits the field early, there will be more scrutiny than ever on Snyder, Gibbs and the franchise in general.
I just watched Mark Maske/FOX Redskin report, and he stated that the rest of the league still perceives, even after Gibbs' second arrival, the Redskins as directionless, clueless, and a dysfunctional team. Wouldn't putting Campbell on the field this year further add to that perception?
I mean as fans, we just want the team to win - but what does this eventually do to your locker room? Players say they want to win and they don't really care who's starting, but I think that's just media talk. How long can we continue to field a championship caliber defense and play musical chairs with the QB?
At some point we have to win or die with one guy and let the chips fall where they may.
