You'd think that people would have had enough of silly [political threads].
But I look around me and I see it isn't so.

But I didn't know where to put this, and hadn't seen it anywhere else, so here I go.

Whoa, wait, what? Last I checked, the government was supposed to be about checks and balances, not Presidential dictates. I imagine many won't have a problem with these lines, after all, he just wants what's best, and those stupid Congress people just don't get it. Forget that each one of them was elected by some portion of the country, and that he was going to bring in a new era of bipartisanship (which is crazy in itself). But to say he is going to lead by executive orders, and his phone calls to a select variety of people (I don't think he will be talking with all 313 million citizens).

Isn't that an extremely pompous statement?

Isn't it an extremely dangerous winding road?

We don't need to win elections, we just need one guy to sit by his phone and use his pen.

Meanwhile asked about if he finished his review of the NSA - well "it's getting close", no need for the pen yet on that one.
