It would be nice if the tax code was so simple you didnt need Quicken, an accountant, or the Goverment to do it for you. Im sure Quicken was against Herman Cain's idea too.

Your post and my post have nothing to do with each other. The fact is this is an easy to implement and convenient feature that most people could use to file their taxes. It is heavily opposed by folks in the tax business (obviously) the problem is that our politicians are more empathetic to what these huge businesses want than what is best for our nation.
