Computer HELP!!!!!!!!!

I need some help, my computer keeps telling me in a pop-up that my computer is low on virtual memory. So I go in and try to increase it but it is maxed out @ 4096. How do I fix this? It will close programs that I have opened and stop my downloads.

HELP PLEASE!!!!

Sounds like you have too many processes running.

Download an anti-spyware program - Microsoft has a free one. Virtual memory is different than RAM, it has more to do with system resources. I'll bet you are laden with spyware.

Either that or a virus is causing the problems. I would get spybot (I just don't like Microsoft's antispy where program,) and run it. After that, I would run your virus scan and then maybe defrag your computer too.

Also, how much free hdd space do you have? If you're hdd doesn't have enough space for a decent sized pagefile, this may be getting you in to trouble as well.
