Who will be this years 'what are they thinking?!?' player cut?
 

In recent years, we have been up in arms at some of the cuts that the team has made coming out of training camp (some for more legitimate reasons than others) and invariably there will be some more this year.. Who will be this year's Sultan McCollough, Kenny Watson, Rashad Bauman, Ifeyani Ohalete??

None of those guys would really put me up in arms, so I guess if one would upset me more than any, it would be Cartwright. Although I really wouldnt be suprised if he gets let go.

I voted for Ade. Because of the stellar depth we've brought in at the saftey position, a CB with weak cover skills will have little value, despite his special teams prowess.

But the story doesn't end there!

Ade, obviously dejected from this turn of events, vows revenge on the Redskins for cutting him, and tries to catch on with an NFC East team, to "show those jackasses what they'll be missing." Due to a lack of interest, he expands his list to NFC North teams, since they are in the rotation for the Redskins this year. When that fails, he will focus on AFC West teams, since the Redskins play them this year as well, and "they might not have any tape on me."

At publication, Mr. Jimoh was seen chasing the head coach of the DC Divas for an interview. He was unable to catch him.

I voted for Ade. But I won't be shocked about it.....it will be more like a relief. I really don't know what the coaching staff sees in this kid. He gets burnt left and right, and often "whiffs" on tackles. And then when he makes a play he starts jumping up and down and pounding his chest. For some reason that really annoys me.

I think that judging by the name of the thread - THE ADE would be a smart pick - because if he got cut, I think we'd all be scratching our heads...

Aside from the fact that he is a special teams "demon", proven ladies man, and professional breakdancer, think how boring the forums would be without THE ADE.... Mmm-hmmm - that's right.

I would vote for DJ Jazzy Darnerian and the "Fresh Price of Don'tCare" McCants. It would be surprising to see him get cut, but at the same time, there isn't enough room to keep all of our cute little WR smurfs.

Rock only because people liked him and him being cut would sting, but none would be a SURPRISING cut. at all.

Clark, Bowen or Jacobs would be a surprising cut, but even then you could easily see what they were thinking.

Everyone seems to be thinking that "The Rock" being cut would be a shocker. I don't see the skins keeping 4 RBs, so Nemo or Rock is going to be cut. But they have both played pretty well, so maybe one will make it on special teams, or the practice squad. How many WR will we keep? I think we have four in Patten, Moss, Thrash and Brown, but Thrash and Brown are Special Teamers as well, so maybe Jacobs makes it over McCants. However as I have stated in other posts here, Jacobs can't make it on the field, cause he is always hurt!

No hard feelings Reskins P - every year everyone thinks THE ADE is going to get cut, but then he finds a way onto the team. I'll wait until its offical before I change my name. Or maybe I'll just go with AJFHOFCC (Ade Jimoh For Hall of Fame Campaign Chairman). To early to tell...

Gotta say that it's Rock because of the name "ROCK". Now if he were named say "Soft Cartoff" or something than we all may have a different opinion. Heck he may have never even made th team.

I'm thinking they will keep 6 WR, Moss, Patten, Jacobs, Brown, Thrash and either McCants or Dyson. Brown and Thrash are special teams players so you can count on 5 being active and one inactive but since WR are a notoriously fragile bunch it's important to have more than enough..

How about Cory Raymer, would that be shocking? Or what about Mike Sellers?
