[B]NEW YORK — April 24, 2023 — FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.

Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.[/B]

I heard the straw that broke the camels back with Tucker was him reporting the doctored leaked intelligence documents with the Ukrainian/Russian casualties reversed as accurate when he already knew they were inaccurate (reversed).

Will be interesting to see who will replace the ratings King. Tucker has now worked for all the cable outlet news…CNN, MSNBC and heaveyweight FOX.

I know why it's all that really matters, but I wish ratings weren't what moved the needle on what shows are on the political stations.

This would be a great opportunity to put on a show that people might actually learn something they don't know.

Would love a show with democrat and republican joint hosts, where people are interviewed 50/50 on the issues of the day/future/etc.

Instead, it will just get replaced w/ the same show, different face.

Problem is the true believers aren't interested in viewpoints that challenge theirs.

Say what you will, but Tucker calls out the GOP constantly. Even his speech over the weekend at the Heritage he described current Republican Party as “yuck.”

Off the top my head he’s crushed Gov Abott and Lindsey Graham in the last ten days on his show

So if you get offended by that, I get it.

Bro…did you ever watch crossfire? You remember Jon Stewart coming on it an attacking Tucker back then and said that debate show was bad for the country? Man how wrong Jon Stewart? He epitomized the affront to giving both sides equal time.

I would love crossfire back, Maddow and Carlson (who if you didn’t know are friends and got along well when they worked together).

But these days it’s hard to find Democrats who will even defend their positions of killing babies up onto the point of birth, sex changes for 9 years old, legislation against gas stoves, the world will end in 7 years due to climate change, etc.

I don't remember that and didn't watch that show.

I like the idea of that type show. But you would need 2 hosts that could actually work together. I don't have an interest in it if it's just going to be the hosts shouting over each other.

It could just be 2 hosts interviewing 1 person, so each person has to answer questions from both sides of the aisle on each topic. Not opposed to 2 people being interviewed at once (like an actual debate type set-up), but that's harder to control. You would have to have microphones that automatically cut-off after 1 minute (or whatever the time is) with no exceptions. Not even controlled by the hosts, it just automatically shuts off when your time has elapsed.
