Who is your break out player for the season?
Who is the mf’in Skins player who will breakout this coming year?
Chase coming back off injury, a rookie, a second year guy who who just needed a lil experience, Payne in a contract year, etc?? Who is the guy who will be quiet baller…a guy not necessarily to break out but just be that core, dependable guy who everyone is like wow nice to see him finally step up and solidify himself as “a dude.” First question, I think Chase bounces back hard with a better offense on the field. He gonna be in the teens end of season..count on it. Second, I think Cosmi was good first year, but he could have that Johnathan Allen -like early emergence at Right Tackle. 2 other players I like to be difference makers..Curtis Samuel and I think Kam Curl has probowl potential if they just leave him alone to play Strong Safety |
Re: Who is your break out player for the season?
Defense- Chase Young. Dude is way too talented not to come back with a vengeance. He has learned the NFL you have to put 100% in year round. Think he he has a great rebound season.
Offense- Jahan Dotson. Just think this kid is going to explode as defenses are going to be too concerned about McLaurin leaving man coverage on Dotson. He is the total package with sick hands too. Wentz and him have already built a connection. Think Dotson/McLaurin is going to be bigtime for a while. |
Re: Who is your break out player for the season?
Terry McLaurin - 1500+ yards and double digit touchdowns if Wentz plays 90%+ of the games.

It's incredible he's put up the yards he has already in his career considering his signal callers. Eager to see him paired with Wentz.

Re: Who is your break out player for the season?
The breakout player for this team BETTER be Carson Wentz! He better come close to that 2017 season or this is it for him. He should have a good oline, and great weapons, so no excuses. He better stay healthy and play well.
That being said I think the breakout player will be Montez Sweat...this is a make or break season for him as well coming off a lack luster season...I think Young will be limited for a while making his comeback and I think Sweat will take advantage of the open spotlight. |
Re: Who is your break out player for the season?
Sweat should be a stud this yr, the whole DL should be

Re: Who is your break out player for the season?
I'm going Jamin Davis on D. I think things will slow down for him this year, he'll be playing a position that better suits him, and a healthy, more productive D-line will go a long way to helping him make a big jump.
I'm going Curtis Samuel on O. I can see McLaurin and Dotson getting all the attention from opposing defenses, and he will quietly become the most productive/dangerous offensive player. |

He simply doesn't have the motor or whatever you want to call it- like the Bosa boys. He can't rush like those guys. I've seen more of Nick than Joey and he just isn't as good. Sure he is big strong guy, looks good getting off the bus, but just not all that impressed vs the massive hype that was behind him. I've seen him get handled too many times that I know he simply will never be an elite player. Good to pretty good? Sure. |

I'm just not buying it w/ those guys. They get a lot hype because of draft pick status, but the results have been average at best. It'll be more of the same this year. |
Re: Who is your break out player for the season?
I'd say Samuel. Put him in the slot, not outside, and let him work in there. I think if they just put him there he'll do some damage. Hopefully his body holds up.

Re: Who is your break out player for the season?
Gonna give 2 for offense and defense
Offense: Antonio Gibson 1,200 yards rushing and 400 receiving and 16 total TDs Terry McLaurin 1,400 yards receiving and 11 Total TDs Defense: Chase Young and Montez Sweat go for 12 sacks each |

Re: Who is your break out player for the season?
McLaurin is going to throw 2 bills on 1 or 2 teams this season.

Re: Who is your break out player for the season?
Chase young = hope he returns to his physical form and has improved his skills. Not sold yet.
Wentz needs to be a break out player at the obviously most important position on O My biggest thing this year is the fucking COORDINATORS. Scott... how do you plan to spread the ball around and use ALL THE WEAPONS on offense. You better not disappoint. JDR = scheme better and call better games or get the fuck out. That is all. |

But I'm with you on the fact I'm not crazy confident that neither him nor Sweat are gonna have a bounce back season. Last year was incredibly disappointing, and obviously part of it was attitude. Both of them. So I'm in "prove it to me" mode, more than confident mode. |
