The law enforcement thread
In light of the upcoming Chauvin decision this week, seems like a good idea to contain it to one thread.

Literally all she had to do was tone down the rhetoric until the decision is announced, now his entire trial might be jeopardized because her words might influence the jury to vote one way. For the record I absolutely 100% think that kneeling on someone's neck for 9 minutes can, and has in this instance, killed them. Chauvin's entire thing seemed to be showing that he was in control of the situation, and that is why George Floyd isn't here today. He needs to be punished for his negligence. |

If you think trump had anything to do(he did) with Jan 6 then you must believe she needs to be punished, you can't have it both ways! Not you mooby , just in general. |
Re: The law enforcement thread
Just need a guilty verdict. I paid attention to the trial...the prosecutor did a fairly bad job. Defense was good.
Floyd died from the action of Chauvin. Other things may contributed but it’s all secondary |
Re: The law enforcement thread
Shit is going to be really ugly if there isn’t a guilty verdict
|
Re: The law enforcement thread
We don't need a guilty verdict no matter what. We need a guilty verdict if he is guilty of a specific charge(s).
Note - I think he's guilty of at least manslaughter. This is more of a general statement: We can't let fear of outcome be more important than the actual evidence/trial itself. Not fair to anyone that is accused of any crime. Individual rights are way more important than group rights imo. |
Re: The law enforcement thread
Waters has just given grounds for appeal so says the Judge! The dumb ass!(Waters)

The judge comments were spot on about Waters.

Re: The law enforcement thread
Maxine Waters is an idiot.
Judge here probably should have taken his own advice and shut up as well. His comments give weight to any defense appeal and will certainly be paraded around by the appeal team .. but the big thing is judges dont like speaking on hypotheticals or what other courts may do, they stick to what is before them and their jurisprudence. here he did both. Riots are going to happen no matter what. |

One of the biggest mistakes that Marilyn Mosby made in the Freddie Gray trials was charging every single officer he came in contact for his death. This was as close to a slam dunk as you get almost as close as this Chauvin case yet not a single guilty verdict. |
Re: The law enforcement thread
Joe Biden
@JoeBiden · Aug 27, 2020 United States government official Remember: every example of violence Donald Trump decries has happened on his watch. Under his leadership. During his presidency. This still remains a fact under Biden. All the mass shootings, violence in the big cities and all the bullshit riots we’ve seen. Biden is responsible for all of it |

Mtk, u sound like the msnbc guy mad this evening because he couldn’t get to bitch about the injustice tonight. And there quite a few of those takes, completely the worst, bad faith I’ve seen. Well that’s not the worst...Pelosi took the crown. Well at least until Biden takes credit later tonight. Thanks to Trump administration, specifically Barr removing the plea option of 3rd degree off the table as too soon and too lenient |
