U.S. Vacation Spots

Want to plan a vacation next year. What is/are your favorite city/cities? What one thing would you recommend in that city?

Personally I enjoy visiting Ocean City, MD

Really nice beach, good restaurants, and you can find fairly inexpensive accommodations!

Flyfishing around Mammoth Lakes is one of my go to vacations.

Big Cities: This is going to sound crazy but I really like Detroit. Great food and fun nightlife downtown. Tip, if you like strip clubs, cross the border into Windsor Canada, their women have never been shot or stabbed.

Small Cities: I like driving so I usually end up in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, or Monterey if I want to spend a 3day weekend relaxing.

Santa Fe, NM is always a nice place to visit especially if you like spicy food. They put green chili on everything including fast food.

Coeur D'alene Idaho is on my todo list.

I like these places too. I've done little mini vacations at all of them.

Idaho is nice, my aunt has a cabin up there.

Definitely will need to get to New Orleans at some point. Have heard great things about Chicago from other people as well.

I used to live in San Clemente. Any of the beach cities from Newport all the way down to San Diego were great places to visit, ha,ha. You need to list what you like for good advice, your age and relationship status.

I live in San Diego so I've been to just about every spot down here. San Clements is nice. Love Dana Point too.

36 and my gf would 99.99% be coming with me. She is the foodie. I'm the beer, sports, and history part.
