As much as I want to buy the Kool-Aid, I just have this feeling of dread that all the perceived progress has been a mirage - it's like a bad dream where: Scott McC is not a miracle worker / great talent guy; Gruden really is a bad coach who has an undisciplined team and will run an offense that has a 10 to 1 pass to run ratio; Cousins is really the guy who played the first 8 games last year not the guy who played the last 8 games. We won't win. We never beat the Steelers and we never win Monday night. Doom and despair.

First of all the Jury maybe still be out on Gruden, but Mc C has a proven track record elsewhere that says he is that guy. Cousins finished so consistently strong for so many weeks that the progress was proven.

Our playoff run last year was against non-playoff teams. As soon as we played GB it was obvious we still have aways to go. I think we are getting better but not good enough to beat this Steelers team tonight.

I am hoping we are competitive and its a close game; something to build on.

I think we are all a little in "show me" mode having had our dreams dashed so many times before. But the vibe does feel a little different - these guys seem to really want to play with and for each other. Hard to overstate the importance of that.

I need a ruling please.
If I see a vehicle with Steelers insignia on it, am I allowed to flick them off if I dont have any skins insignia on my vehicle? Im still deciding on what skins decal or magnet I want.
Obviously, if I have skins gear on my ride I have free reign on game day to harass the steelers vehicle any way I feel bc they will then see my skins insignia and know why.

A few years back when I first signed on here I posted about flicking a Cowboy stickered car off as I drove by. It wasnt even Cowboys week, but who cares its the cowboys right? I figured i had free reign to give them the bird. I did have a Skins sticker. It turns out there was an old lady driving. Completely wigged out about my flicking her off (unknowing that is was a grandma). Anyway I caught alot of grief on here for doing so.
I vote yes - flick em off. Flick em all off.

I havent wanted a weekend to be over and Monday to get here so badly since, well, last football season :biggthump

If our team is who we think they are, this should be a good game. But is this 2013 again? Doesnt feel like it, but I have to see before making any predictions. Beating Pitt would be a great first step
