Ziggy hood is a starter on defense. This could be a major story for a guy who was just trying to stick with the team in a back up role. If he can shake the injury bug and get back to an impact level then this is another McC success story. Look for Ricky Jean to be a big contributor in the rotation.....but the Ziggy Hood story highlights the fact Reyes hasn't done enough and Paea, well we saw how that went. Im watching how Ziggy plays as a starter, im psyched.


Man I've heard Dan Patrick and others picking the Steelers as the representative for the Superbowl. This is gonna be a huge challenge for the first game and will tell us a lot.

I think we come out strong and compete...I look for a high scoring game

I took Monday and Tuesday off, we better win this dang game.
We're watching the game at my sons house because his TV is bigger than mine.
I'm also spending the night there so I can get half in the bag.
If our running game is decent and we can pressure Pervoburger, then we can win.

For as much as I've been impressed with Scot's ability to draft, I've been even more impressed with how he goes bargain bin hunting to find impact players in FA.

RJF, Blackmon, Hood, Pierre Thomas for the stretch. The list goes on...

Even with Bell out and as optimistic as a fan can be on opening week ... I just cant help but think they will run it on us at will.
Really excited to see what the secondary looks like.

I think we sell out on stopping the run and Antonio Brown. With L. Bell and M. Bryant out, in my opinion there is no significant threat that our D can't handle. Minus a six-shooter, I have no fear of Jesse James.

We probably struggle to run most of the game, but the passing game doesn't miss a beat.

we have too many weapons for that very suspect Steelers defense, esp their secondary. Skins win a close game 28-24.

I went to a steelers skins game about 18 years ago. Im with my buddies who are all steeler fans. I am wearing a skins winter knitted cap. I got so much trash talk during the tailgate. Dudes up in my face asking me how is it going to feel to have the skins lose to a gay quarterback (kordell stewart was their QB at the time). Multiple close throw downs.

The tipping point of when i took my hat off was during halftime. my buddies were getting food and drinks and i am smoking a cigarette off to the side. This old old withered man came slowly walking by. I cannot stress to you how old and crinkly and cracked this guys skins was. He slowly walks by me, stops, turns around and walks back in front of me, spits at my feet and then starts slowly walking away. I couldnt stop laughing.

i thought they were obnoxious in VA, but in AZ it seems there are more Steelers themed sports bars everywhere.
