I remember him being solid with Pittsburgh, but the article says he wasn't a perfect fit. Now it seems like injuries have diminished his effectiveness. I like the signing as a low risk move though, best case scenario is we get a solid player and worst case we cut him with minimal cost.

I don't think he fit Pittsburgh or Jacksonville quite like he could fit in Barry's one-gap. Might not make the roster but yeah, worth a shot. Can't imagine he got anything other than the...

I don't ever remember the Redskins going out and grabbing up players for depth when Allen and crazy-eyed Cerrato was over personnel. They usually waited until free agency to blow their wad on over-priced house hold names (well more so Cerrato than Allen.) So, this is a breath of fresh air! I like the approach.
