With the top outside linebacker prospect off the board following the Jacksonville Jaguars’s selection of Florida’s Dante Fowler at third overall, the Washington Redskins stayed put at fifth overall and chose to address the other side of the ball, selecting Iowa’s Brandon Scherff.
